If you live in Dallas or even remotely near it, you have to make it out to the free Disco Curtis show on July 10! We wanted to thank you guys for all of your continued support for our band by throwing a free show in our hometown. All we ask is that you bring some canned food for Grace, and/or a donation to Compass Christian Church.

The past few days in the studio have been a blast. We already finished tracking drums for both songs, and have tracked guitars and vocals for a full song. We are incredibly excited about our new music. You guys will love it!

Join our Street Team for Warped Tour!
Hey guys!
We are looking for people to join our official street team and to help us on this year’s Vans Warped Tour. We basically need you to promote Disco Curtis the day of the Warped Tour date you are attending. We will need help passing out flyers, walking around with signs with our set time, and basically spreading the word about DC. (It would also help if you spread the word about us before the show so people will already know we are playing.) This can be done while still watching your favorite bands play all day!
All you have to do to sign up for our street team is fill out the form on our myspace, facebook, or on http://discocurtis.fanbridge.com.
Meet us at the merch table at the beginning of the show to receive your flyers, etc.

Today Garrett and Tanner laid down the bass and guitars for our two demos. They recorded at Garrett’s house and had a pretty interesting set up (Garrett’s amps were miced up in his bathroom). The songs are starting to sound pretty sick on the demos, so I can’t wait to hear the final product after LA!

Today Tanner and I began the demoing process for our two new singles. We recorded my drum parts with just two mics, giving a rough idea of what I play on the song. The rest of this week is dedicated to finalizing the songs and finishing up these demos to send to our producer in LA!
In a little over a week (May 29) we will head out to LA and begin recording these songs for real. We will spend two weeks recording with Mike Green, and then we head home to get ready for Warped and to prepare the release of these songs!
Be expecting tons of posts on here, new pictures, videos, and updates during our demoing/recording process. We are incredibly excited about these new songs and we really think you guys will like them.
